I recently lost my wife of many years and I’m navigating the brand new world of being single and contemplating dating. This really resonated!

Geoff, I’m so sorry for your loss. Deeply appreciate the note. Re dating, as I once heard somebody say at a singles event, “it’s a mess a minute out there”!

How narcissism begets narcissism until, as Cohen once wrote: Only one of us was real and that was me. Wonderfully crafted🐈‍⬛

I really liked this. the vacuous descent into the void of celebrity narcisism. But yet, maybe there is no option for those who are just born to it - it is what they must be; can only be. self contained. very nice.

One or two lines in your story were absolutely delicious - had to restack one of them. Thanks for this story - and for reading it to us - always adds something to hear the creator's own voice, and not the one my own mind created for the words.

Only because of Hollywood would the world think age 24, 25, is the prime of a woman’s life. Miss Jean Brodie was not 24, 25.

The prime of life is middle age. It really is! Maybe some can fully actualize themselves earlier, but do they do so with perception and peace rather than just power? Doubt it.

You said that well. And it fits in the end spot, where I am trying to summon where in the song the making it line comes in...it isn't "smile as you kill" seems to be the opening .Make y feel small. Sam is as curt as not approving but chillily looking. Sounding like 5 word sentences Am glad about these..

Fair enough! The way I put it is just kind of the world of the story.
