Alexa has determined that Paul’s genes are not optimal for the developers’ populating planning. This story would have been scifi a decade ago, but now it’s a contemporary slice of life.

Haha that's right. When does sci-fi stop being sci-fi and just become social realism? It feels like we need another word for the genre - 'technological realism' or something.

With stories like this the John Q Public's of the 1930s amrca did their best thinking. Amazing Stories mag. You definitely censored, my Mr. Han does not like your attitude, where are the home land security deescalating paramedicbots in the aftermath? Is unclear where the neighborhood 'mothers might be.
