Exactly. And the media on the left made Trump. The harder MSNBC pushed their rage machine against Trump, the more it just confirmed what people who already felt disowned by Democrats (the working class) had been feeling for the past decade. If the Dems had any guts and brains they’d seek the center again and ditch the dumb patois of woke identity politics.

Yeah, there's just there's this terrible feeling of "it's happening again." I think Biden's politics work well for the Dems but it would be nice if the messenger of them was about 30 years younger. That's the kind of thing that you can get to with a real contested primary, but just as the Dems tried to coronate Hillary in 2016 (and stayed willfully oblivious to her flaws on the campaign trail), it looks like they'll coronate Biden. It's this really not-great-feeling of deja vu all over again.
